I am running a 64x version of windows 10 technical preview. Does this mean that all of the problems I've been having are coming from a registry error? I have tried things like IU DLL Cleaner, but those only remove paths that don't point anywhere, correct? Not actual registry errors.

Instead of the usual Install this program to your computer at the very top of the pop-up window. On the computer that doesn't work when on regular desktop, when I right click on the setup file, it comes up with something odd. However, those exact same setup files will work in safe mode and other computers without any issues. (A problem caused the program to stop working Right after prompting an OK for administrator approval, it gives me the error Every single setup.exe file stops working when I try to run it. Windows installer stopped working, completely. Around when I updated to the windows technical preview build 9926.
